Abstract
The themes and depictions of my practice are conceived from a philosophical starting point. The structured approach of artist manifestos, such as that of the Futurists, written in 1909, or the Bauhaus Manifesto, 1919, as a means of organising and vetting thought, has informed my conception of 'Reliquism', my own theoretical manifesto - the framework that informs my practice. It is therefore important to set out my ideological understanding, as it directly relates to the inception of my artwork.
